About us

The Dish is the only food magazine in Madison for students, by students. We are apart of the Wisconsin Union Directorate Literary Arts Committee. As a student-operated publication, The Dish explores both the local food scene and global culinary trends. We distribute an annual spring print issue throughout the UW-Madison campus and downtown Madison, along with digital content throughout the year. Print Issues and Digital articles are available on the website.

We welcome any students interested in writing, social media, graphic design or even just foodies!! If you love taking photos of food, checking out new restaurants, or cooking inventive recipes, we would love to meet you! Check out our social media and contact us to learn more.
